HISTORY

 

Centre For Teaching Turkish Language (Marmara TÖMER) was established as Turkish Prepatory Unit within Marmara University School of Foreign Languages with the senate's decision no. 2011/8 on July 11th, 2011.

 

Beginning from the establishment, Marmara TÖMER has carried on the activities for the scholars of Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and for the foreign students who want to learn Turkish.

 

On March 15th, 2021, Marmara TÖMER continued to teach Turkish as a separate center.
